The New iPod Touch







A jeans-clad Steve Jobs unveiled iPod Touch, the sixth generation of Apple’s iconic music player this week. As expected, it boasts much of the technology that made people go "oooh" at the iPhone - and powered it into position as the world’s quickest selling smart-phone.

Touch-screen music and video navigation aside, wi-fi connectivity is an excellent addition. As well as web-browsing capabilities and YouTube time-wasting, users can access the entire iTunes music library on the move, frittering away the pennies with a grandé mochacino at participating Starbucks (the cafe chain's customers will be able to download music playing in outlets). Two more additions to the iPod family were also unveiled this week. The iPod Classic (a tweaked version of the 5th gen model, with a bigger hard drive, slimmer design and revamped interface) and the new iPod Nano, which boasts video capabilities
